Every person who comes to us is in the middle of a transition. It might be getting back to work, getting through a hard season, or building a workplace program that holds up. We meet you there with skill, respect, and a clear path forward.

Led by Charmaine Nalty, LCSW-C, CEAP, who has more than 25 years of healthcare leadership, TCS provides DOT SAP evaluations, NRC SAE services, EAP counseling, and outpatient therapy for adults and couples. We also offer clinical supervision, employer consulting, and DER training. We see clients at our Baltimore office and by telehealth.

Clinical Expertise Meets Workplace Compliance

Transitional Care Services is a Baltimore-based behavioral health practice serving employees, employers, and individuals across Maryland. Our work is led by Charmaine Nalty, LCSW-C, CEAP.

DOT SAP Evaluations. We provide DOT Substance Abuse Professional (DOT SAP) evaluations for employees in safety-sensitive positions who have violated DOT drug and alcohol rules under 49 CFR Part 40. This includes the initial evaluation, education or treatment recommendations, and the follow-up evaluation needed for return-to-duty. We also serve as a Substance Abuse Expert for nuclear workers under NRC 10 CFR Part 26. Learn more about DOT SAP evaluations

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services. We offer confidential counseling for employees using their EAP benefit, for any personal or work-related concern. Learn more about EAP services

Outpatient Therapy. We provide counseling for individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, work stress, relationships, and communication. Learn more about therapy

Self-Pay with Superbills. Therapy is self-pay. If you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement, we can provide a monthly superbill for your insurance company. Keep in mind that insurers require a diagnosis, which becomes part of your medical record, and we can only provide a superbill if you meet the criteria for one.
